Our newest plan is to open a laundromat!  Such a concept does not now exist in Sri Lanka.  Laundry is either done at home by hand, or collected by a washerman  who may take up to 3 weeks to return it.

The idea, of course, is not to provide a new service but rather provide a place for the disadvantaged to work.  There will be several positions available that could be filled by handicapped individuals.  In addition, we will provide temporary employment for those who have lost their jobs and need a source of income until permanent work can be found.
